"Quiescence" Solo Show at Fabriq Gallery, Brockley, London - September 2025

For the whole of September 2025 my work has been in its own solo show in the unique setting of Fabriq Gallery : an exquisitely curated micro-gallery sited in a working laundrette in Brockley, South East London. Brockley has been my home for 30 years, so both the pedestrian and geographical setting feel incredibly special and a culmination of my art practice journey. The perfect home for "Quiescence". Just down the road there is Adult Learning Lewisham, where I learned the ropes of ceramics, and where some of my sculptures were made. My practice being socially engaged, it has been amazing to have unexpected conversations about art, creativity and the human condition people who have been using the laundrette and were surprised by the exhibit.
