Mural in Lewisham Hospital Ladywell Unit Garden - Summer 2025

As part of Lewisham Borough of Culture 2022 I facilitated 2 months of creative workshops in this inpatient garden. I am now back to complete the project, merging the design ideas, drawings and colour suggestions of patients and staff with my own iterated designs. It's been a process of interesting conversations, time spent at the drawing board on my own and at the wall, alone or with people. The mural has visual elements of reflection on life and its twists and turns... For the first time I also tried a visual diary of the progress, which you can find in my Instagram feed.
